Ohne gravierende Auflagen wird am 18. 3. 2023 die internationale Ausstellung IHA Unterpremstätten über die Bühne gehen.
Hier sind kurzgefasst die Bestimmungen, im Detail bitte beim ÖKV nachlesen:
- gültige Tollwutschutzimpfung (Kontrolle der Impfpässe beim Eingang),
- schriftliche Bestätigung, dass die eingebrachten Hunde aus Beständen stammen, die nicht wegen einer anzeigepflichtigen Tierseuche gesperrt sind (Formular ausfüllen und dem Einlasspersonal beim Eingang übergeben),
- Untersuchungsergebnisse der ausgestellten Hunde, bei Jungtieren Untersuchungsergebnisse der Elterntiere, gemäß Leitfaden (Westie: Patella-Luxation) vorab dem ÖKV per E-Mail schicken und auf die Ausstellung mitbringen,
- tierärztliche Kontrollen auf Qualzuchtmerkmale bei den Eingängen, während der gesamten Veranstaltung und gezielt im Vorbereitungsring zum Ehrenring.
Achtung: für den West Highland White Terrier ist – im Gegensatz zu den Angaben im ÖKV-Leitfaden – KEINE Untersuchung auf persistierende Fontanelle erforderlich!

Here is a short overview of the official requirements, please check the ÖKV site for details:
- valid anti-rabies vaccination (check at the entrance),
- confirm in writing that the dogs brought in come from herds that are not subject to a ban due to a notifiable animal disease (complete form and take it with you to the exhibition and hand it over to the admission staff at the entrance),
- send examination results of the exhibited dogs (in case of young animals the examination results of the parents) according to the guide (Westie: patella dislocation) to ÖKV in advance by e-mail and bring them to the exhibition in order to be able to document the health of your dogs,
- veterinary examinations for torment breeding traits at the entrances, during the entire show and specifically in the preparation ring for the ring of honour.
Contrary to the ÖKV Guide there is NO examination for persisting fontanelle necessary!
